It is a joyous privilege to give the living water of the Gospel and word of God to the thirsty and searching souls in our church and surrounding community. But the souls that are tend to be overlooked in our blessed and busy congregations belong to those who are leading and serving. God graciously reminds us that the water we give to others is for us also. We must be pouring from a full cup and strengthened heart if we hope to have abounding joy and long tenure in our service to the Lord Jesus Christ. For that purpose, we invite you to join us at Refresh!

When and what time?

Refresh will take place August 22.

9:30am: Doors Open for Checkin and Coffee
10:00am: Refresh Begins
12:15pm: Catered Lunch
1:30pm: Refresh Concludes

Who is Refresh for?

Pastors, pastoral teams, local church leaders and their spouses are join us at the Church Leaders Refresh, located here in beautiful Waynesboro, VA. This is a half-day gathering with other evangelical servants of Jesus Christ who labor in the Gospel and serve the local church.

What should I expect?

We will worship, pray and hear powerful, heart-strengthening sessions brought by Pastor Harley Snode on how to find and keep a Christ-centered balance in our lives, marriages and ministries. (See Harley's bio below.)
Delicious, catered lunch provided by our friends at the local North Ridge Cafe for everyone in attendance.
All attendees will be automatically entered for a chance to win $250 and other giveaways.

Where is Refresh being held?

The Refresh will be held at the Waynesboro Innovation Hub located behind Happ Coffee Roasters in downtown Waynesboro.

How much does Refresh cost?

There is absolutely no cost to those who attend. Wayside Baptist Church wants to be a blessing to those who richly bless others for the cause of Christ. Everything, from food to venue to giveaways, is on us, and is our way of saying a genuine, heart-felt "thank you" to you, your spouse and your team for all you do.
