Summer Life Nites

Join us for these engaging, in-depth, fun nights of fellowship around God's word and God's people. In May, we will focus on fellowship through spending quality time with one another as we kick off the Summer. In June, we will focus on discipleship as we dive deep into the Old Testament story of God's rescuing grace found in Jonah. In July, we will focus on edification through our Life Groups, as we build one another up heading into another Fall semester.

FOCUS: Healthy Fellowship
 
SCHEDULE
May 15: Outside the Walls

Instead of gathering on property, we encourage each member to gather with other believers throughout the community and in their homes. Take the culture of the local church and the love of Jesus "outside the walls."

May 22: Outside the Walls
May 29: Picnic + Softball Game at 6:00pm

Join us at Stuarts Draft Park (in Draft across from Food Lion) for a Memorial Day picnic and church-wide softball game! The church will provide the hot dogs, chips and drinks. Feel free to bring your favorite picnic side dish and lawn chair. The church will also provide the softballs and bats; you bring the glove and competitive spirit (but not too competitive)! To be clear: this softball game is for the WHOLE church. Men and women, young and old can play! Don't miss it!

July

FOCUS: Community Edification

Each week during the month of July, several families in our church will be hosting Life Groups throughout the community! Each group will be going through the book "I Am a Church Member", written by Thom Rainer, as we collectively look at what it means biblically and practically to be a member of a local church. 

Also, we encourage you to bring your whole family to the group you sign up for! These groups are called "Life Groups" for a very specific purpose: so we can do life together! That includes the whole family, kids and all. Group leaders are prepared for this opportunity. We embrace the chaos that life brings!
